Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety

CIEH Level 2 Award in Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety

Course outline

Work-related violence is on the rise, yet employers have a duty of care to provide a safe place of work. This is not easy in environments where the potential for conflict and aggression is high. Yet high staff turnover and a lack of training mean many employees are still vulnerable to physical and psychological damage. The costs to businesses can be very high indeed. The Chartered Institute of Environmental health (CIEH) has developed this qualification to help organisations protect their employees as well as their organisational and operational effectiveness. On successful completion of an end of course multiple-choice assessment, candidates will be awarded the CIEH Level 2 certificate in Conflict Resolution and Personal Safety.

Who should attend?

Employees in both the private and public sector who deal with the public, particularly those involved in daily interaction or occasional contact. This qualification is as relevant to receptionists as it is to caseworkers or sales staff.
